This shoutout goes to Du3de Bismarck! sup D!

Thank you for the rest of the International Q&A. Good information received, hope to receive more when gathering becomes a priority.

The numbers are in!
"..looking into it": 5
"We have something in mind, but have not fleshed out the details yet": 3
"..take into consideration": 10
It'd be cool if we could get less 'questions' answered for more 'detailed' answers. Something more than a one liner would go a long way. Perhaps some details to go with "We have something in mind, but have not fleshed out the details yet" such as "We're thinking about adding xyz to work in abc manner so that efg happens". Sub in actual info for xyz, abc, and efg respectively.
I like that one question they are taking into consideration, even more than the one they said they are looking into.
All in all, I enjoyed this Q&A a bit. Let's see how much of it makes it, or stays in consideration.
Thanks for the delivery Rukkirii.

equals "Whatever, next question please!"We'll take it into consideration

Extremely extensive and drawn out interview... for a part of the game most of the few remaining players have no interest in. [Removed by Moderator according to the FINAL FANTASY XIV FORUM Guidelines.]

Thanks for the info, Sadly the children of this forum are NEVER happy....

Hmmm, considering the fan negativity regarding the perception that "we'll look into it" is a non-answer, I would suggest the following:
For the next Q&A, just let the devs pick and choose 4-5 questions themselves that they think are good questions. Questions that they know they can give a good answer to, accompanied with lots of details and discussion in how the devs approach their design decisions.
Right now, we have a large quantity of dev feedback, but arguably low quality.
I think the fanbase would be happier if you instead had a low quantity of dev feedback, but that each answer is long and substantial.

Even after reading the 2nd part of the Q&A I can't help but feel the devs are thinking of the gathering classes as afterthoughts. I mean all they really seem to be concerned with is tweaking and balancing and more then that is because of the impact on crafting and economy. The fact that they are not really considering ways to make gathering a more important aspect of the game is sad as they original said the gathering classes would be just as important as the rest of the classes and that was something I was looking forward to as every other MMO has gathering as just a afterthought.
In all honest alot of the stuff should not be we will look into it or we will take it into consideration. Stuff like adding mining nodes in MINES should be "We are doing that" doesn't matter when but it's not something to consider it's common sense and should be answered as such and many of the questions work out this way. Fact is a good chunk of what was asked will end up in the game and the devs know it but they answer it in such a way that annoys everyone including myself.
Don't make me angry or I shall cut down all the trees and laugh as you can't breath!!!
