Oh that one is easy: For whatever reason they just *don't* drop HQ Iron Plates. You can double-check on YG (Yellow Gremlin), but yah, some mobs will ONLY drop a NQ version of an item (it's sad, and inconsistent, but true). That's why you never got an HQ Iron Plate from Undead.

Here is a few questions from myself.
Despite Gathering only receiving 5.8% of the total vote in "Players Poll the First" about how people spend their time in Eorzea, do you still intend to support it as throroughly as Combat and Crafting as an activity for those of us who do spend most of our time in it, and see it as one of the main reasons to play. This includes addition of more things to do, our own unique gear earned by playing our class of choiceI know that is a repeat, but even if you do find someone else with an interest, you can't group up as it just harms you both in terms of collection and Skill Points. Is there plans for more group oriented gathering gameplay.
Do you see any content in the future that requires Gatherers working alongside with Fighters. An example would be that the fighters stem back a tide of enemies while Gatherers grab the materials until the fighters decide they can't hold out any longer and everyone falls back. Both of these are sort of dream questions - I'd love to have to hire somebody to help out if I chose to take the risk and go for the 'pot of gold' (that also rewarded the combat classes for protecting you), or high quality trees in my case - less Faerie Apples, more lumber *grins* The idea of partaking in scenarios where a region is being overrun, or something like that, where the reward lies on both sides doing their jobs well also really appeals to me.Would it be possible to add gathering spots in dangerous zones for gatherers, but allow them to 'hire' other players in a way that rewards the Fighter for aiding the gatherer, and gives the gatherer the access to rare or higher quality goods. While good in theory, without a decent Skill Point incentive, players generally are not interested in helping you.
*Edit* I have to say, no way do I want Gathering classes becoming a 'side-profession' like some folk have suggested, I love *choosing* to do so, and having my gear and reputation be built by what I do, rather than all gathering being fair game for anyone who just wanders past.
kinda the same question/suggestion as others but wanted to add it there. Are their any plans to either A) Add an additonal NPC to the leve counter to offer gathering only leves, or B) expand on the number of camps offering leves and/or expanding the number of leves per camp from 2 to 3-4?

More questions (sorry if repeats):
Why are DoW & DoM classes the only classes that are able to do side quests? Will we be seeing future side quests for the gathering jobs? Are there any plans for mini-game style quests/leves for gathering jobs? Example: Who can cut the most wood the fastest, who can fish up the biggest fish, who can dig a tunnel first to a desired end point. (Bring back the fun style of FF7 mini-games)Are there any plans for gathering jobs to help shape the world of Eorzea? Example: The servers Botanists get together to cut down a massive tree, which allows adventurers to travel across a raging river (Fun, world changing events like the FINAL FANTASY XI Treant-Teleport event)Is there a plan that will move away from the boring, highly repetitive, and monotonous field craft leves? As it stands, these aren't fun after the first few times (like all leves) and usually repeat themselves at higher levels, just different lore and material yields. Why aren't there any mining nodes in the MINES?

Here's my questions
Is it possible to adjust the gathering tools so that while gathering they're
keep drawn until player leaves gathering area or and until set to off by player manually? Why isn't the secondary tools for gathering viewable on character?.Why can't we equip secondary tools only?Triangulate increases traveling speed but what about for gathering purposes as well, any chance we might see something in the reworking of all abilities?the white glow and the green glow whats there true identity name?, its going by many names for players so what do the devs call it?Thank YouCan Trees Move?![]()

"It's The Journey that is important, The Destination is Not that important."
I'm interested in an answer to this, since the same impotency problems that plague the battle system plague every system, because they're all built on the same bad principles.Any plans to strengthen the effects of higher gathering, output, and perception to mimic the new effort and wholehearted play emphasis of Matsui's battle system? It seems that not much matters in gathering except your level.

Here's my question
Here's my questionWould it be possible to encounter/interact with Elementals and Moggles while going about the daily task of gathering?
Here's my questionAmazing moments and risky situations, will gatherers experience any while gathering?
Thank YouDo all trees in Eorzea have an gathering point somewhere on them?![]()
