I agree completely and it isn't my intention to argue against that. My point was that with Yoshi admitting his favorite was black mage, the class balance will forever be skewed in its favor whether he directly has control over tweaks or not. Other classes will be secondary concerns and only small adjustments will be made to quell complaints as long as possible. Heavy handed buffs typically only favor ranged classes in eastern mmos. Developers always drag their feet when it comes to fixing subpar classes. Always.

So because the developer says he like to play a specific class that mean they'll be the top of the top forever ? That's wrong on so many levels...first and foremost, because blm hardly have the top dps right now. They do best dps when the word is "AoE all the things", and this apply in WP (and who cares about it) and coil turn 4. In every other encounter never a blm surpassed a competent melee
