I never played the past final fantasy that was online, This is my 1st final fantasy mmorpg and what got me playing this was the classes, gfx, and the very close feel of a big FF game that it has with the music from the man who did ff7 and more. I am loving the game thus far and hope when i hit 50 its not as bad as the OP states it to be.

Also yeah i love tanking to so im going to work on a pala next. God i tanked in Aion for 5 years and it was so off balanced with dps and templars. This will be the game i would stick with for years to come if it is decent to find groups (not easy) but decent.
Its a beautiful game that i hope many enjoy like myself and look forward to end game.

LMAO really we YOU died because WE dont have a relic LMAO thats a good one . I see /shouts for people who want to do AK and WP in full relic for speed runs . When again i can speed run the same thing with the same results . Its not the gear its the player . As for not going in BC how do you expect to get exp in BC if you cant go in BC . Sometimes you just have to do things for yourself . Like next time /shout for your own group and do it . If your FC wont take you thats not a FC to be in .
I usually don't do this, but good god man, you used the word "there" incorrectly like three times.

There - a place. ex. "Do you see that thing over THERE?"
Their - Possessive Plural Pronoun denoting ownership over something by more than one noun. ex "This is THEIR way of doing things."
They're - Contraction of the words They and Are. ex. "THEY'RE doing something later tonight."

Please, for the love of god, learn which one to use and when. They may sound the same, but they're (see what I did thar) not spelled the same, and they mean completely different things.

Too bad nobody knows this and everyone wants a quadruple bard team.

One skilled bard > 4 bards. I'm lucky to have the bard I got in my group ^^. 2 Bards is just lazy and an over kill, let alone 3-4 bards -_-. My own opinion anyway.

MNKs are truly amazing and they are far from "LB bot". A skilled MNK just add to the group and never hinder it.

This forever, our group has changed members over time and have never asked for experience, we love to help people who know how to help themselves and have taken people to turn 5 who started with nothing but enough gear and the right attitude.

As he said though, it's a whole package and when we have to pug it is not a charity; a lot of our members were pugs that we hand picked to join the FC, static group and everything. Pugging is a way to meet people but if you want regular coil content you need to make friends and form networks. There are LS for coil but (at least the one I'm in) they're for turn 5 practice and are for people who are geared to the teeth through their own statics.

I'd also like to thank you sparda for helping our group when we were still on behemoth learning turn 4, you were very patient and gave thoughtful advice. This guy is not lying when he says he is willing to teach new players.

Just lie. Watch a video so you know the strategy and don't mention that it's your first time, if they ask you if you're experienced, say yes. Unfortunately it's a catch 22, groups won't let you join because you aren't experienced but you can't get experience unless you join a group. I lied about having exp for T1 and just watched a video... I ended up playing better than some of the "experienced" people in the party. Unfortunately this game is full of elitist idiots who will go crazy everytime something goes wrong, will be blame anyone but themselves when they mess up and aren't willing to help people learn.

Alternatively, set up a group and shout in Mor Dhona for a practice group, you'd be surprised how many people will join because they are in the same situation. I joined one of these groups for T2 and it was great, nobody shouting and complaining, and people who were experienced were helping people learn the strategies. We may not have won but the newcomers got some "exp"

Like others have said, having experience is a big plus and will get you into more parties, but also if you were saying that you had Full DL on monk that could be contributing to some of the problem, as the full darklight set together on monk is rather underwhelming, and many know this, so when they hear/see full DL on monk they often will turn them down in my experience.
