Isn't it ironic that the game isn't officially supported in Canada (since you do have to call a US number), it being the country which hosts the western datacenter?

PS@OP: Really sorry for you. Yet another instance of SE's shady and incompetent customer service… (4h! omg! and not even delivering in the end…)
I also think your phone provider is not off the hook in this case. I should know, the 3 french providers did rip us all off for a decade, until sentenced guilty and fined (600M€) for cartel practices (which was very small a fine, considering the billions in illegitimate profits they made overall). It's such a shame that ripping off and milking customers has become a "normal" way of doing big business, on top of which stealing from States through "fiscal optimisation" (a fancy word for tax evasion) has become the norm in accounting.

These are dark, trying times for honest citizens.

Where the heck in Canada do you live if you have unlimited long distance with a bill of 35 bucks a month!

I live in Canada too... my bill is 65$ a month I get no long distance at all.. or even unlimited data. We get ripped off so badly over here its insane.
