SEs NA number is not toll free 858-790-7529 or 310-846-0345 but any cell phone can call for free long distance
I'm Canadian. I saw a phone number in the 800 number range so I thought free like every other giant company. I saw no disclaimer for it costing us a penny for calling. So I called. Waited on hold. Spoke to somebody. He told me to wait. I waited. Played to 50. Got the bill. Raged. Showed up on forums.

That's the problem. Not many 'Free International Long Distance' carriers up there, eh?I'm Canadian. I saw a phone number in the 800 number range so I thought free like every other giant company. Hey, at least you live in the country where the Data-center is.
Yes, weve established it's not toll free. But again, who the heck in the US doesn't have unlimited long distance? long distance charges seem like some relic of the past.
Only 800, 877 and 888 numbers are toll free numbers Any other number is an area code. It was only 800 for years and years until most 800 numbers were used up.I'm Canadian. I saw a phone number in the 800 number range

I'm Canadian, baby, our carrier services are quite a bit different from their American counterparts. That's all changing now though, since the CRTC has dubbed what our cell providers do is really sucky and downright illegal, so it's all changing and being shookup.
It doesn't really matter what you tell him. Next, he's going to ask why you didn't move to America before calling SE.
I could really do without your libel, thanks.
Well that's good to hear.I'm Canadian, baby, our carrier services are quite a bit different from their American counterparts. That's all changing now though, since the CRTC has dubbed what our cell providers do is really sucky and downright illegal, so it's all changing and being shookup.
I totally agree they should have a toll free number, but it's hard for me not to find fault in your actions because there is a warning straight on the support pages, and in the emails they send you, which state that it is NOT toll free.
Glad I have unlimited Long distance NA wide.
I spend about 100 hours a month talking to my Hubby in USA and I'm in Canada. Bill is $35/month.
Where the heck in Canada do you live if you have unlimited long distance with a bill of 35 bucks a month!
