Edit: This isn't sarcasm! Sorry! Chat support is a lot better! I've had much better experiences with it than calling or emailing SE.

uhm... Did you really call the US phone number from some other part of the world? I'm quite sure SE has different phone numbers in Japan and Europe. There is no way in hell you could rack up that kind of a charge calling their regional support office.I just wanted to say that I have decided to never purchase another Square game again. I sat on hold with your customer support line for about 4 hours to get an issue settled with my FF14 account, since your email support is BEYOND useless.
I received a phone bill yesterday, a 418 dollar phone bill, the largest bill I've ever received. So I wondered what the hecking heck could have wracked up such a large charge.

So yeah, sorry but it sounds like you're the one who screwed up here.
I had to deal with CS and it sucked so bad. First i sat on the chat live section for 3 hours only to have my que go from 600 to 1 then connection lost to host . SO i found there phone number and was on hold for 6 hours . Yes i waited for 6 hours . My issues was SE charged my CC for 1$ then i went to pay my first month sub and it was denied but SE charged me 1$. So i had to call and find out why. 6 Fing hours on the phone and 3 online in live chat 9 hours total . When i finally got to talk to someone they said my card declined because there were no funds . But there was over 300$ in my account when i checked AND SE already charged me 1$. I was like if i did not have the funds how did you charge me 1$? Then i had to buy Crysta . Witch i did not want to do . Did i get anything for wasting my time ....nothing . I did get my dollar back .
PLEASE tell me you are not going to pay that shit? I would dispute the charges so fast and do anything and everything in my power to not have to pay that. That is an absurd amount of money that no one should have to pay, especially for bullshit support.

He made the mistake, not SE. While I would probably dispute it too, I"m fairly certain if you are in the EU portal, you'll be given an EU phone number, if you're in Japan, you'll get a japan phone number. And as other people have pointed out, you are warned before choosing the phone support option that it is not a toll free number. While I can't disagree that that's silly, it's still his fault for calling it despite the warning. The chat support option connects you to the exact same people and is totally free.
The only way you could rack up a charge like that is by calling the wrong phone number from the other side of the world.
I'm from North America, so I called the proper support line.
And yes, it was 4 hours, it was like 3 hours and 40 minutes of being on hold and about 20 minutes of actually speaking to somebody. They also have the worst on hold system ever...that machine mans voice is the stuff of nightmares.
I wonder if nc soft and se are having a "what can we do and they keep playing" contest![]()
