The [To the Devs] posts are all from one person.
At least, the recent ones are.

ARR was built from player feedback. The developers do care what we want . Who the hell are you to tell people what they can and can't post? Player feedback is still valued, why do you think they increased the amount of tomes in dungeons or added gil drops to trash mobs?
I'm pretty sure you are completely oblivious on how those silly indications are being used recently.ARR was built from player feedback. The developers do care what we want . Who the hell are you to tell people what they can and can't post? Player feedback is still valued, why do you think they increased the amount of tomes in dungeons or added gil drops to trash mobs?

I don't mind threads directed to the development team for comments and suggestions.
I do mind them being posted in the General Discussion, they really need to be posted in the appropriate board.
but how will "the devs" see my most likely not repeated topic/thread? I'm worried that it could be lost in the sea of unoriginality if I don't put "[to the devs]"
The problem isn't that the developers don't care, it's that they aren't going to be reading the General Discussions forum for suggestions and bugs. If you really want the developers to notice, post in the appropriate forums. Silly concept, I know.
I personally love the [To the devs]. WoW is doing this because I read an article on (enter gaming blog here). I am clearly more informed then you about the industry you work in.. So you should change your development plans.
[To The devs] Start posting threads "[To the Players]"
Now sing Beyonce's "Irreplaceable" and sub "to the left" with "to the devs" and make the song about FFXIV.
It wasn't because it was posted in General Discussion. The [To the Devs] tag is totally meaning less. this is what the OP is talking about.ARR was built from player feedback. The developers do care what we want . Who the hell are you to tell people what they can and can't post? Player feedback is still valued, why do you think they increased the amount of tomes in dungeons or added gil drops to trash mobs?
Tagging post this way doesn't make it more likley that the post will be read by the dev team. if you want to make a suggestion to the dev's,
do it in the appropriate forum. It's not wonder they don't read, or listen to the English forum when 90% or better of the poster in here can't
figure that simple rule out. It makes there lives a whole lot easier if you post in the right forum.
