SE making NEW MMO

Possible locations for a new MMO:

Xenogear
Chronotrigger
VII (either pre/post/during Avalanche's time frame all could work and be pretty fun)
VIII (same thing as above)
Kingdom Hearts
Dragon Quest
Final Fantasy XV or XVI or XVII

I would've said Star Ocean but, SE publishes that game and Tri-Ace is the developer so I don't think this one is a possibility.

Hm, it could be something entirely new.
I don't think it's impossible to expect SE to come up with new IP, untied to any other game they developed so far. At least that's what I hope for

I'm not happy at all SE making new mmo, more mmo's not always mean better 4 them ;D, I understand they need money so if this help their finances = better 4 FFXIV in the future I guess. I hope it's nothing to big and won't compete with FFXIV, just my 2 cents.

Hironobu Sakaguchi, spirit within originally had a very extravagant story line that perhaps would of extended its development greatly but was forced to releases it early, Square wanted to make a profit and deemed it good enough. I believed he left and started his own company due to these creative conflicts. If anyone is to blame for both instances is the money hungry people at Square, Wada.

He left because he was put on the sidelines for every major project after that until he made mistwalker. That is my point, Tanaka is all but finished at SE.

I was wondering how long it would take someone to bring up Dragon Quest.

If it was developed by Level 5 and had the same appeal as True Fantasy Live Online, I would be so happy, either that or the look and feel of the Dragon Ball MMO.

To be fair, it was only a couple years after Xi's release when they started working on XIV (codename Rapture), as that teaser video was released in 05 if my memory serves me correctly.

Either way, what I am curious about is if they continue this trend then once the next MMO comes out a year later they will begin yet another MMO, since they stated they want only 3 MMOs up at a time due to manpower then is that the final days of FFXI?

Finally, I personally would love an MMO set in a more futuristic setting, or a steam punk one.
