I agree with you, especially if it would clear up the confusion that many of the player base has concerning why they are/aren't getting hit by aoe moves.Then the AOE animation needs to be 100% synced with the application of damage otherwise the game feels disjointed hence the complaints.

As an example. Yes, the player could have moved a few MS earlier, but she was very clearly out of the AOE and was still hit.
