Thread: The addition of daily quests in 2.1

Yes, they can get boring but along with dailies they are adding in several other avenues to obtaining tomes. This I think is good where unlike WoW you have to grind faction reps with the dailies, which kind of forces you in a way to do them. Here there is no faction rep to grind, just tomes. Which I find is much better than grinding the same dungeons over and over again for tomes.

Lets me pick and chose on how I feel that day on how I want to obtain my daily intake of tomes.

I hope they don't bungle it and make the daily quest give fewer tomes than AK.

Just wonderful dungeon roulette, Ill pass lol. Im sorry only dungeons I wanna run are the one's that dont cap my level.

I disagree completely, as the daily quest is daily, and AK is as many times a day as you can. Since it is limited it should give more tomes. If it's not a better way of getting more tomes then everyone would just keep spamming AK/WP.

I don't mind dailies so long as it's only one avenue for content I can obtain through other means.

It's when it feels like I'll be left behind if I don't do them is when it becomes a problem. Mythology tombstones are already kind of like that.

What I'd like to know at this point then (hopefully all will be revealed during the live letter) is what rewards these dailies will have. Because as a lot of you are saying if it's tomes then I think it's great since that just gives another option of getting what everybody needs.

But if certain rewards are only available through dailies then I won't be so enthused. Hate logging on to do a set of boring quests every single day in a game because I essentially have to to stay competitive. Feels like a job (or worse, torture).
