Thanks to the devs for a great game!

Hello, first post here. I'm a level 45 Monk and I'm really enjoying the game. At the moment I'd even say it's the best I have played.

The world is gorgeous, ditto the music, ditto the characters models. Both the main story line and the class story line are very good. Nice and fluid user interface, combat is fun once you get the hang of the possible strategies. FATE are fun and the best implementation of dynamic events I have seen yet. Dungeons are more challenging than in other games, but that makes wins more satisfying as success is not guaranteed. Community seems nice enough.

Of course not everything is perfect, particularly on the technical side: there are some lag and some disconnections and crashes, but I hope these are only "growing pains". I also hope something is done about the "positioning" problem when you are hit by attacks even when well out of the hit area.

However, as I said in the title, thanks guys for a great game!

So you are congratulating them with a complaint about server stability issues, things that should not still be here at this point in the games life?

This is why the MMORPG industry is in such a debacle that it is currently in because millions of players are willing to pay for a broken product OR only pay for half a product and have the wool pulled over their eyes with the notion of *content patches* which said content patch should of been in the game from the beginning and expansions should lead the way for advancement.

Just saying, don't hate the player, hate the game.

The truth of the matter is, the game has issues that most MMOs (specially P2P MMOs) have fixed or at least shown quick initiative to fix.

The time for us to say " It's fine, these things happen during launch" has passed, do not deny the problem it is eating your face off and it will keep on doing it till you complain or stop feeding the lazy bums sitting at SE Headquarters.

What can I say, I don't demand perfection to be satisfied. A game which crashes a couple of times each session but it's otherwise great to play is OK for me. If bugs get eventually smoothed out, even better.

Currently? All MMOs have had this problem since the begining of MMOs lol. There has yet to be a MMO that hasnt had one issue or another for the first few months. Hell WoW was unplayable for the first month after launch.

There's nothing outstanding, at least for me, about FFXIV. It's mediocre IMO. Better not say it too loudly. You can't even think about disliking anything about FFXIV ARR. Dem White Knights!

Bugs always smooth itself overtime. So I can put up with some issues. The game is excellent though ( Hate FATEs) but love the rest of the game!

I do enjoy those people that play, and pay, for a game, only to then bash it and people that wish to pay compliment. They are aware there are problems, but they are happy to see all the good too. Also, all those things complaint worthy, they have been voiced, trust me. Probably more likely to be seen if you say something nice at this point XD
