I am posting this because I can not seem to find anything on logitechs site and self testing has not found a cure. I am having 2 issues, one of which I resolved so I figured I would post the way to fix it, the other I need help with.
1. Resolved - I use a Logitech G930 Wireless headset and for whatever reason I lost the ability while in game playing Final Fantasy XIV to use the push to talk button while on Teamspeak 3. The fix for this is to change from push to talk to voice activated. No one, including people at logitech or teamspeak could figure out why this is happening. The switch to voice activation cured the issue, you may have to adjust the sensitivity so that your key clicks are not coming through and all... This only only occurred while in Final Fantasy XIV, and I had my VioP program on admin still no help.
2. Unresolved - I also use a G13 gaming keyboard that has 25 programmable keys (like the razer Nostromo) I have the latest software and firmware updates. While in game playing Final Fantasy (and only Final fantasy this happens) I set my hot keys on my pad and in game to match but once I try to use them they don't work. It is like It does not recognize the keys. For example the top line are all hot keyed to be Shift+1-7 the next row is 1-7 and the third row is 8-+ however whenever I actually try to use the Shift buttons all I get is the same numbers without the shift button. So I tried other keys, Control, Alt and even random unused buttons on the key board including the F keys. The combos have never taken while in game they still just read as numbers 1-7. This is incredibly frustrating as I have tested all the configurations I have used in other games and the software's test mode and they all work fine. It is not a profile issue on the g series software either checked that. This is frustrating trying to use multiple hot bars while in game, but only able to hot key one row...I don't know what else to do at this point... looking for advice.
PS I am using the G series Gaming software update 8.5
Windows 7 (64 bit)
and have tried running the other programs as admin but nothing seems to help.
The problems only occurred while playing Final Fantasy XIV. Tested fine in other applications.
