I never post here but thought I would on this one... Got my Ifrit Cane first try through DF... 1 attempt, 1 kill, 1 weapon... (Garuda is another matter though)....

In all honesty, I'd just skip Ifrit and go for your Darksteel blade in WP until you get Gardua's sword or if you're lucky, your Curtana. Ifrit weapons aren't worth it at all. Titan aren't either since if you're eyeing for Titan you may as well do your relic at the same time to kill two birds with one stone.

If you get lucky and get a Titan weapon for another job you use, more power to you. However, I wouldn't count on it.

Over 100 hundred runs for ifrit Axe. On the plus side, I picked up most of the other ifrit weapons for all those jobs not to 50....

In the time it takes to do 100 ifrit runs you could have a complete set of Darklight for multiple classes.

Many 10s of runs for my PLD sword before finally giving up and tanked Titan on my pathetic green GC sword. On the upside I now have 7 greed weapons for potential alts. Every other drop seemed to be an Arcanist weapon.

7th try. After drop the BLM weapon 4 times in a roll! XD Then I went to Garuda right after and got the sword on the first try. :P Love RNG.
