There are about 25 HQ bracelets there. That would require close to 500 peacock ore. Now, on our server those run for 40-45K a piece. That comes out to 20 million gil in ore give or take. I know there are many people with that kind of gil on this server, however, I have not seen one particular player buy 500 peacock ores from the AH since lanch. I have taken screenshots on occasion of two complete stacks of ores being sold over the market boards within a few weeks of launch but those were to different players.

Frankly, this could be legitimate. For all I know the owner of these two retainers is just flashing his gil and making a statement. Nonetheless this seems highly suspicious and should raise some red flags. Especially considering, from what I have read in various threads on these boards, that there was and/or may still be a crafting bug in which you can make these two star items without actually consuming the philo tome mats, essentially duplicating them every time therefore allowing someone to do something such as the above picture.

Any thoughts on this? Am I just being too paranoid?
