For those experincing frequent Windows "This program has stopped working"

I don't think anyone has claimed to overclock their system. I think stopping that would be the first thing most people would try after changing drivers.

Sometimes they don't know if they are overclocked though. Most common with Video Cards (sometimes the "Extreme" editions and such need a slight "underclock" after they've been hammered a while), but sometimes things like memory get binned at higher speeds, but no longer hold up after they've been abused for a while. Components degrade over time.

It's often an easy thing to test on a built system--pre-built boxes from Dell and such, may not be an option. But it is worth looking into down-clocking things if it is an option.
