This has become an issue for me a couple of times. Especially when someone has something awesome in their bazaar that I want to buy and they are running away from me. Like an idiot I have to chase them and hope that they stop.

I think it should be changed also. Move while browsing Bazaar.
I however agree that it should not be on the top of the list.
One day though get to it if you can.
Ty~
Defiantly agree with it not being on top of the list. But if they have time and can actually do it somewhere in the future. That would be nice.
I'm sure it has already been said, but this also happens when checking someone's equipment.
I would love to see free movement while browsing a bazaar. I also would like to see some kind of prompt for bazaar owner to tell them somebody is looking through their stuff, so they can stop moving for repairs/purchases like in XI "BazaarBuyer begins to browse your wares." or something similiar.
I am in agreement that freedom to move while checking a bazaar would be a great feature to add. The issue isn't necessarily a gripe as it is a method in which players can interact. Since, people are defensive of making FF14 like FF11, my suggestion is merely one that allows for the interactions between players. I will always give a fellow the player a second to browse my wares if I had any idea someone was doing so. The subtleties in player's interactions are determined by the level of communication we are given in which to interact. 'So and so' is browsing your wares command message would allow me to stop what i am doing and maybe meet someone new, strike up a conversation, instead of walking away wondering if anyone has any interest in getting to know other players. It would be a good move considering the lack of interaction we now face due to miscalculated need(s) for social interaction. BTW, Because a feature in FF11 was a good tool doesn't make this game FF11, it is merely an observation and acknowledgment that what made FF11 so addictive were the subtle things that made for pure enjoyment. I'd rather not have to chase someone or yell at them to stop; I am much more polite than that. Thanks^^
It's not a bug. Our in game characters are just THAT dumb. They stop to put their weapon away, they stop again to take it back out! They stop to raise the shield, they stop again to drop the shield! They stop to put on a hat, they stop again to put on pants! They stop to chew gum, they don't move while chewing gum!
I agree with the forced stopping of player movement. It's annoying and it gives me less of a reason to check bazaars in the first place.
An option I would like to see is the ability to check the bazaar of every player character who is currently loaded onto my area. If they are in /say range, I want to see their bazaar.
It could be displayed just as one giant inventory list, with tabs to organize item types and a listing of seller and price.
This would be very handy, and encourage more buying and selling.
I'm surprised nobody mentioned the fact that, IF you actually manage to get their bazaar to open while they are runing away, and you then make the purchase just before they are out of screen, you get the message that they are "too far" to make the purchase... >.>
There should not be a 'too far' message when buying from bazaars.
