I'd really hope that SE will have different graphics for the 2.1 moogle weapons than the 1.0 moogle weapons. Would actually make me want to go do it for the weapons instead of just to listen to that awesome music.

I'm ready for the real version of what a primal is supposed to be. Primals are essentially gods, not sissies.
By different you mean they redo the weapons? My Moogle weapons didn't change in graphics, just stats that are good but..relic is generally better sadly.
Altering a fight to make it more difficult is a lot faster, in terms of developing content, than creating something from scratch. It's a good way to add content targeted towards people who do things for the simple pleasure of the challenge. Did you get anything worth mentioning from Nael Hard in 1.0? No, but my LS still spent a few weeks fighting him simply to say we did it. Maybe they'll give 100 mythology or something and it'll be worth it to do for people already sporting lvl 90 gear instead of spamming WP. All I know is I'd rather have the option to do Extreme modes than to not do them. If Crystal Tower is as long as Coil, it'll be a lot of content added on top of primals and that alone makes me happy.
I feel it's only going to be relevant if it drops some gear that's equivalent or a bit better than darklight. Otherwise I'd probably only do it once just to say I did it and be done with it.
This would be a bigger problem if they weren't adding new stuff with 2.1
I wonder which 2 dungeons are getting a hard mode. Probably two of the early beta dungeons I'm guessing. Tam-Tara certainly already has the extra paths available, not much work to be done there.
What if the rewards for the extreme mode primals are the new AF2 (or whatever it may be called) that was sneak peaked on the last live letter?!?!? ^^
