Extreme primals.. who else does NOT like this?

Ifrit extreme was a joke too lol. I'm not looking forward to extreme really...I mean what's the point? What are they going to drop? We already have our relics which are supposed to be the best. Now, if they drop primal armor that is good I guess I'll do it.

I want open world NM and such too...man we had it nice in 1.0 ; ;

Who is this We? I currently still pushing for my 50 right now. Even if I did have my relic, I would still get the weapon because they look cool.

Cool looking> Stats personally. I'll still get the best stuff for my class, but I won't ignore the gear just because I have the best gear.

Didn't SE say that only 400 people had beaten Extreme Ifrit. I'd hardly classify that as "a joke", even with the 20k subs or whatever they had at the time.

If the suggestion there were 20,000 active players of 1.23, and only 400 people finished Ifrit Extreme, that would put a 2% finished rate on it.

Considering some peak server populations were barely 400 (I know the one I was on had people searching constantly and it only peaked 470), that would mean an entire server killed IE. It's not that the entire population attempted it and failed, it's that most simply didn't care for it because the path to IE was full of RNG, high expenses and speed runs that a lot of people didn't want to gear up x class just to do.

It's have more meaning if XIV 1.x was a thriving MMO, but IE wasn't that hard, it was a pure check fight which in 1.x was easy to meet if you had the gil or got lucky for DL.
