Quick question from a newly finished storyline player

So, I want my Relic, problem, my Alchemy is no were near what it should be. I of course can just hire someone, but, how much is the going rate? Should i have like, fifty of the materia ready to go? Or just have three?

Just have the 2 materia required and the correct catalysts (and the weapon of course) and put out a shout. Many people will help for free, but it's always nice to give a tip of perhaps a couple of K.

(edit: it's grade 3 carbonized matter for catalyst, will need 2, and when you find an alchemist, right click and request meld, then select the weapon and the correct materia from the list, enter the tip and hit go. Then repeat for the second meld, both will have 100% chance as the weapons have 2 slots, and it's only overmelds which have reduced chances)

I usually pay 10k per meld. Nobody has complained yet.

I usually just do melds for free. When I need something melded usually 250 per meld is enough. Most people just do it to help out.
