All Saints' Wake Haiku Contest (EU): Winners Announced

We received an overwhelming amount of haikus for this contest which made it quite difficult to decide on the best. Unfortunately we cannot give a prize to every single one of you but don't worry, there will be a lot more contests in the future!

Now without further ado I present you the winners of this contest (in alphabetical order):

Shivering in gloom
Shadows creep so light the lamps

Evil doth stir as

Ghosts? I don't see any.

The Imps in disguise,
bringing back The Good Old Times
All Saints' Wake begins!

Another outfit
Now I can look like a ghost
Full armoury chest

Demon eyes be nigh
Imps and ogres haunting now
Dread the midnight strike

Pumpkin Pie I make
Life as culinarian
They come for revenge

The coil is calling
But All Saint's Wake has arrived
Bahamut can wait!

Don't frighten the Sultana.

Pumpkins through the night
Staring at me with cold eyes
Don't take my candy

Mischievous spirits!

The dark night creeps in
Frightening ghosts soon appear
Madness consumes me

Night and stars align
A vigil for those long lost
In hallowed light

Cactuar gangster
Trick-or-treating little kids

Ghosts are in Ul'dah
Momodi cowers in fear
Raubahn saves the day?

Thou shalt trick, or thou shalt treat?
Woe, 'doink' last I hear

Terrible Nightmare
I dreamt Titan had come back
Wanted a rematch

Nothing scares me more
Than a Moogle in stockings.
It's not natural.

Zombies eating grain
They are done with eating brains
So no bread today

The clock ticks slowly
I'm needed elsewhere right now
This fright i'll postpone

Carving my pumpkin
Blood covering its teeth
I suck my sore thumb

Shrill voice of metal...
Glowing eyes discern my faults...
All Saint's fear? Gigi!

The night is but young
Full of terrors it now is
And Pumpkin cookies

Ghostly visitors
spreading fear and excitement
respite from the past…

Sharp shrieks in the Shroud,
pumpkins wander silently:
Be chilled to the bone.

spirits roam the realm
darkness and tree leaves falling
now your time is nigh

To get the candy
Clapping at Somber Strongman
Am I that scary?

An imps Masquarade,
Eve of wiles and witchery
All Saint's Wake is Nigh.

Top hat pale catgirl
Blew me a kiss while posing
Hope she's not an imp

Threatening darkness
Tireless pumpkin warden
Beacon in the night

Saints to the Heavens,
Darkness left roaming the earth.
Fight away we must!

In the cloudy Night
Magic Pot now hates the imp
Imps bladder is bad

Ghosts patrol the town
Sad smiling lit pumpkins stare
While I bake bread, still

Pumpkins glowing bright...
Tricky treats and ghastly ghouls!

As foul as Marlboro's breath
Seeking to quell life

Put on your costume!

Than a clapping ghost

Zombies have a short tough life

Cold chill in the air,

Haunted by creatures
Sadly I fail to escape

Dressed up as a ghost
Battling terrors of the night
I fight fire with oil

The wailing darkness.
