Square take your time and get it right. The WoW players can go get their fix with pandas if they are unable to wait a mere month.
I don't think the problem is with people wanting more, more than for 3 months in, there is a great lack of content left for players to do. Even if you've been super casual and only recently gotten to level 50, you're running the same 2 or 3 dungeons to grind gear, and will soon be starting on the 'whole' 4 end game raid bosses. Sure, you can level another job, or even a DoL/H, but this is solid grinding of a fraction of the content you've already experienced.
Now lets consider those players that 'went hard' and got a level 50 in 2 weeks and have done the limited endgame content for a couple of months. Hell, let's consider the 1.0 players that have had all the classes level 50 since release. Tell them to stop QQing about limited content, despite the fact that they are paying the same monthly fees as you.
Edit: For the sake of argument, obviously neither of these views are supported by everyone, but I hardly think it is 'unfair' for people to have been paying for 2-3 months and asking for more content, whatever situation they may be in. If people start losing interest in the game, is it their fault, SE's fault, or a combination of both?
I know plenty of people that only log in to raid and cap myth for the week. It is only a matter of time before they stop logging in at all.

If my posts seem short or incoherent, I am probably editing the rest in.
Square, i know you're reading this.
Let me give you some advice.
Release the content, which is done, now. Don't pack it all together and release something, anything that's done, immediatly.
Even the new players get tired of the same stuff everyday. This does not look good at all. Reconsider this.
In one month, pretty much everybody will just stand in Mor Dhona and slowly lose interest in ARR. You WILL lose a lot of subs because of this.
And they will not come back thanks to the new console generation.
So, once stuff is done, release it, watch the players reaction, and polish it until the next one is done.
When you have enough stuff to keep the players hooked for ARR, you can start on your "real" content patch.
And trust me, once you go the "big patch" route, you're going to breake something in the game again, and players will hunt you down once again on the forums. You are able to avoid this.
Could not agree more, saving everything for a single GIGANTIC update every 3-4 months is a really silly idea. Why is a Ui change like a SORT OPTION not hotfixed into the game? I shouldn't have to wait 4 months for a single UI fix. I also shouldn't have to wait 4 months for a simple random daily duty finder system.
Content should be released as it's finished, if they did this:
Same amount of content, just released OVER 4 months and not AFTER 4 months. If they did this, no one would be bored right now, and there would be tons of content coming out every month to look forward to. Making everyone wait 3-4 months is a surefire way that the majority will get bored and unsub for months on end due to lack of anything to do, you can create content for a monthly release that has stuff for people to look forward to, I mean PSO2 and GW2 do it and one is free to play, wihle the other is buy to play.
- 2 weeks in, auto-sort added
- 1st month, CT and random DF daily queue as well as ILVL to DF added
- 2nd month, PVP added
- 3rd month, Treasure hunts, dailies
- 4th month, new extreme mode primals, new primal(s), new dungeon, new hardmode version of 2 dungeons, new hardmode boss
Then you could have this(Example):
- 5th month, new Coil turns
- 6th month, PVP map(s) added or some new PVP content
- 7th month new hardmodes/new dungeon
- 8th month, new job(s), new dungeon, more CT turns

If all this is true then why does the game continue to get new subs each day?Square, i know you're reading this.

"prolly" is not good enough for me to accept.
I did a quick google search and found this link :

If those numbers mean fail after having a game out for 2+ months than I will gladly take that cash off their hands so they can relaunch the game to cater to self-made economic experts like yourself lol.
