I'm so looking forward to getting my culinarian leveled up so that I don't have to pay gouged food prices anymore.

Seems like people are making out alright selling HQ 2 star recipes though. People are constantly looking to buy up philosophy crafting items.

To make profit with DoH, yes it is possible but you have to probably watch the market closely on the items you can create with your DoH.

Find out which weapon/armor/food is the hot-selling one and then try to sell the materials from your DoH which is needed to craft those hot-selling items.

Not sure which items sells the most profit in your server, but this is a common tactic to make profit

Are you farming your own mats and doing leves while leveling? This will net you a good amount of cash back while still getting good exp.

I get that, too. I guess my approach is less about making gil. It's more about creating benefits in other areas. Making gil isn't my primary reason for crafting. It's more something I do as a byproduct.
