Some designs in FFXIV 1.2x are better than ARR

it seems that ones self esteem drops if they have to buy relic (if they were not intending to in the first place or shameless)
titan is a teacher, not a lead lined wall. he is a difficult boss, but he is completely doable.

you can be the best player in the world but you still won't down titan if even one person in your group makes a mistake. titan doesn't teach anything. it's a poorly designed fight that is serving as an artificial wall for most of the playerbase (particularly those with bad latency, which is almost everyone). all of those people selling titan wins or offering free carries? they are overgeared with relic+1 and full allagans/af2 and that's the only reason they're able to do that.

i fully expect Square Enix will nerf titan in the near future.

Not to mention, several jobs leveled to 50 because you were expected to swap on the fly between bosses/trash. Another mechanic I'm glad that's gone because if I want to play a Paladin I don't want to swap to a BLM midway in just to speed up trash killing.

Oh totally, but the idea of "you have to master the dungeons" is still there. It could've been changed or tweaked instead of just having to run AK once and be done with it.
