There are bots in every MMO out there. You can't run from them ever.

There is bot on Sarga: Jack Kobe -- he just sits at the burning wall where 2 Golden Fleece spawn at the south entrance. He spins in a robotic circle all day long attacking them as 50 ARC, spiritbonding mostly crafting gear.
You can trade with him and he'll stop as long as you have the trade window open - he never cancels it.
I've reported him a dozen times and give up. He's singlehandedly crashing the III level materia market on Sarga. He just floods the market with the stuff.
He's been there for weeks.
Trade lock him when he has agro, done. I have done that to dozens of bots, numerous times. There is bot on Sarga: Jack Kobe -- he just sits at the burning wall where 2 Golden Fleece spawn at the south entrance. Sadly, some new botters found the medicine against the trade lock now..
RMT wouldn´t be a problem if people didn´t buy stuff for real money.
It´s the people that BUY gil that are scum.
I too find it silly how people are so offending by botters/RMT even though they don't affect us in any way really.
but they do effect us . On Diabolos server there are a lot of mining bots mining shards . There is a archer bot ( Skar Gryn) that will jump turn and shoot Banemites for webs . Webs = dew yarn - Velvet cloth =1500 a pop . So the Bot is there killing Banemites where they pop 6 next to each other . Then he flood the market with webs witch someone will buy . The bot that is selling the webs sells 15 stacks of regular and 5 stacks of HQ . All the gil made is banked to RMT coffers . 90% of Bots are RMT . 10% are the lazy people . Everything comes full circle .
come on people get a clue. These are allowed in this game for 1 reason and 1 reason only.
They are infact Employees of SE. They make real money by selling you their fake money.
A simple program to detect 3rd party software breech is all they need.
There is no way you can code a bot place it inside a world server and make if function without it being ( FLAGGED ) as security breech.
Look its just a basic code that all the devs have and they create bots to farm items then sell item on the Market to obtain GIL. The gil then gets sold by RMT's.
These RMT's are not beeing banned at all. Matter of fact i have 156 black listed accounts and only 15 have been deleted. These 15 were RMT's not of the SE family.

Nice trolling statement. If you truly believe that statement, I suggest you do a little more research on the subject. Botting has a serious negative impact on any MMO game's economy. I have seen its effect on many games I have played in the past. It had a rather nasty effect back in Ultima Online with the housing market.
It's sad when your MMO is slowly turning into Phantasy Star Universe. Sega got so tired of trying to fight the hackers they literally gave up.
I feel like blaming Square in this is a bit of victim blaming. The people we should actually be upset with here are those who buy RMT services in the first place. If people weren't too lazy/impatient to do these things themselves, there wouldn't be a market for RMTs to exploit. As it is, other MMOs have the same problem, so the issue with Square is just how they are dealing with it. Hopefully they will find a more efficient way to do it.
