Agreed, one day I ran a huge circle around Mor Dhona getting at the camps/sub camps up there. Just have to be patient and wait for mobs to move if they are in the way. We actually had a LS Race running around the whole area, I was only archer 32 and made it from Brittlebark all the way around and back to Brittlebark, never dying once.

Go north from camp crimson bark. the first open area, take the west path. At the fork, go the northwestern path. at the next fork, take the west path.

There are absolutely no agro mobs along this trail.

Knowing how Efts agro helps alot, they agro by sound.

Efts have 2 stances, there passive walking stance and then an "Alert" stance they enter when you enter there agro range. They will not agro when not allready in "Alert" mode. When you enter there agro radius by walk/running near them they will pick there heads up and start to "Listen" for you.

If you stop moving and remain still for a few moments they will lower there head and continue on, at that point you can start running past them and leave there agro radius before they can sense you again. It's a very nice agro system and I think I'm one of the first people to ever report it. Some monsters seem to have certain AI actions they take different than others.

Funguars: Inflate before using Queasy shroom and you can actually avoid trigering it if you don't attack them when inflated.
    Efts: Agro by sound
Marmots: Tend to flee when you use Weaponskill or critical hit.
Does: Tend to flee your presence

I entered Mor Dhona from the south, Since I had access to camp Blue fog, I avoided the Peistes, and fought the few Hyenas that were in my way. Once in Mor Dhona, I pretty much turned into the cowardly fool and ran from everything on my way to Brittlebark. It was then a final stretch to the area in my journal. Oddly, I ran into an r8 archer who stalked me until I gave him a tele back to Gridania.

Whoa, I remember that one. Tricky and requires patience and luck.
I was, back then, always hoping for a random party who coincidentially would farm these very mobs.
    Never happened of course. (^-^)
Took me 1-2 hours (probably more) in total to get to Mor Dhona and Coerthas.
It was fun, but I'm glad I won't have to do it again for some time.

I think the others answered your questions perfectly already so I won't say anything else. (^,^)
