Switching Classes

Hello!

I'm planning to switch classes from Bard to Summoner, as you should've know both job got different item set, so sharing gears are pretty much impossible.

I was wondering what's the optimal gear progression if I am to be a SMN, myth gears are pretty much out of the question atm (first world problem) as it takes quite alot of time on getting it.

So I was thinking of using i70 gears for the accessories and such.

Kind of worried that it might just end up with a half-ass geared which is not really my playstyle.

IMO. Bard is better. stick with it

Better and what he enjoys more are completely different things.

"Better" is debatable and situational anyway. Bards are more in demand, that goes without saying.

try to get DL gears for ur summoner.. u can use that gear on BLM just in case u want to level up ur BLM too.. so, in contrast to other jobs DL gear which is only can be used on specific job, but for Summoner's DL gear u also can use it on BLM..

I know that Bard is better interms of utility or w/e reason, but it's damn boring (or it is just me).

Anyhow, I was thinking of using i70 instead of using Darklight. But I don't know if I'm making the right decision considering CT is about to come.

Not just you lol. Anyway try to get DL gear or get the HQ Vanya Robe of Casting and the Rose Gold Circlet then add some materia to it.
