Guessing it will be along those lines, yeah. Like the game, but saying it's anything other than a carbon copy of similar games in the genre would be a stretch.

Just about every MMO uses simple to get tokens that buys you gear that's equal in power to raid gear these days, most have a differently colored set for the hardcore raiders with a bit better stats, which they can get for doing a harder version of the same bosses. Still very bland since the bulk of people playing just see their gear progression as grinding out their weekly quota of currency x in heroic/hardmode/expert/whatnot dungeons.

Personally not a fan of the token gear at all. Diminishes any excitement of getting loot in a dungeon. Makes raiding something you do for fun from time to time, not really something you need to bother with for gearing. And before you say it's pointless to gear up if you aren't going to raid - some people simply like to progress their character, for no reason other than the sake of it, it's an RPG, that's a part of what RPGs are about. Would love to see raids be more integral for gearing even for casual players and token gear, if it HAS to exist, be a stepping stone to enter the raids at best.
