    They made a FFXIV commercial!?! They never showed it in the US!

    That's so badass, shot in gritty '300' style! If you look closely, you can see every race represented. =D

    SE seriously needs to do this with the PS3 launch to turn some heads. The really popular MMOs advertise on television, and it works. Late last fall, I must have seen an ad for WoW's Cataclysm expansion once every hour for two months.

    Advertise it... and they will come.

    Or people can make their own on youtube. ffxi player made ffxi trailer is a good example. the song is the intro song to blood+ (great song)
    When i was unsure of playing ffxi anymore this vid help me see how epic ffxi was. And stuff i wanted to see

    i haven't seen a Wow ad since "night mohawk grande" haven't see any one for cata. An ad is an AD though tv or otherwise. People are getting rid of they cable since most stuff is online now. (and rates are increasing)
