Out of curiosity, does anyone think that Odin should be a final boss in a large dungeon like Crystal Tower which will be hosing all FF3 bosses?

I would love that. Would make the pain of fighting him worth it.
If history is to change, let it change. If the world is to be destroyed, so be it. If my fate is to die... I must simply laugh
Odin and Behemoth, definitely. We need this to be a dungeon. 500 people rushing him makes it no challenge at all, except a challenge to see him and your party
Seeing that I could not even see Titan last time he spawned, then encountered an error, got logged out then "World is currently full" message....Yeah... I would like that

yup
them being a fate is so disappointing
I think they should make them both a Beastman Coin Instance : This would mean you earn Beast Coin drops from different type Beastmen and then when you saved up enough you can pay those coins to a Place Holder / Instance and you could fight him Solo or with Team depending on the amount of Beast Coins collected.
Odin is free, you can't lock him up or chain him down. Grant him his space, more the merrier so he can "Zam" more bodies! Gwahahahaha!
~'\[[_LEGACY_]]/'~TENTs because solo-friendly content forces me to want one!

Odin has a back story in the Shroud. It's a level 47-49 quest line. You learn more about him and why he wonders the Shroud relentlessly. The area in South Shroud I think Uruth's Gift and path to the area would make excellent dungeon areas for an idea of how to design it in a way.
While the design of FATES is horrible, I still like the idea of Odin and Behemoth as world bosses, but due to the way FATES work, it's more of a ZERG and crash the system. On my server, Behemoth has been going down in usually 2 minutes once he reaches the cliff, and that's with the vanishing act he does, and it's because too many people are showing up. FATES are open to all and they want eveyrone to join them to have fun, but I think maybe instead of them being FATES, they should be world bosses and like other MMO's do with world bosses, you need a party/alliance to beat them and only this party/alliance can fight them, not make them targettable to anyone, just who starts the fight. That is how it was done in Final Fantasy 11, and the only complaint was really to that, some people never had a chance to fight him because he was always campped.
But if you look at WoW the way they did World Bosses in MoP, that way kinda worked, and that is design that should have been followed. Yes at first, people would have trouble fightning him, but just like WoW, after a bit those world bosses are left to roam for a while now, until guild decides to fight him.
Right now, the whole FATE system is a mess, and it really has to do with the amount of reward you get for them, the ease of the FATEs themselves, and the amount of people who participate at once in a giving fate, or giving zone and do not use the other zone's at all.
SE needs to just address the whole FATE system itself. They need to pull Odin and Behemoth out of FATES and turn them into world bosses instead, and also remember, this Friday the new FATEs start, I'm really curious if we are even going to be able to see Lightning while we fight whatever we are suppose to, or is she going to be MIA because of the holy/shadow flare/burning arrow/(insert graphical AOE) spam?
I think it should be handled like chimera. you can see him open world, but when you get near him you get taken to an instance. Maybe add an auto-grouping feature
and make it alliance content for 24 people. roll him out in 15 minute blocks between servers. ie. pops on Goblin, 15 minutes later hyperion pops on, ect.. that way the
instance server don't get hit too hard.
