Beware of Random Friend invite

Today I started getting random friend invites from "Shosisi Shosi".

I've encountered this person botting in Camp Drybone before teleport farming. With the recent 3rd party hack going on with these hackers being able to use your Gil simply by opening trade window with you once, I advise everyone to be on high alert about ANYTHING suspicious going on.

This person seems to be targetting whoever they think has a high amount of gil. For example I've been purchasing alot of shards recently since I do alot of crafting and yesterday I bought around 15000 shards all in total which I think I'm getting attention from these botters.

Update: Shosisi Shosi for the 5th time tried to add me on friend's list and even before I was able to block him he logged off and avoided the block -.-

Wait....what? People can steal Gil by opening trade? I think I would like more details on this and proof, as I have not heard about this. I'm sure many others have not heard it too. Thank you for the heads up anywho.

SE has been very under the radar about it but few days ago there was a world wide server shutdown to stop this from happening and SE has been replenishing the gils who fell victims to these attacks. I can try finding the post about it somewhere but SE has been very hush hush and it might take me a bit to find it. In the meanwhile stay alert, the threat of getting hacked is alot worse than most ppl think.

Seriously though good heads up there seems to be no limit to these guys is like an infestation. I still have to black lists daily /tells from multiple RMT and some I get back with a message saying the player can't be found.
