What were the devs thinking, making the relic "one" handed sword same physical damage stat as a "two" handed axe?....so in their logic a 2 handed sword could be almost twice as powerful as a axe......Specially cause the one handed sword has way less delay time than the axe....another reason why you would ask why be a warrior instead of paladin?

edit: and also what is the downside of pld getting shield then?..none....which should be, to have a less powerful weapon compared to warrior that dont get shield...

Lol all weapons are balanced along the same base number stats. The difference in damage comes from the potency of the attacks, which are higher on warrior. You should try zooming out your camera.

The shield makes up the stat points, and adds block.

The stat (str, vit etc) difference is because Paladin gets 2 relics, which have a combined strength on par with other relics.

Don't worry OP, Warrior does more dps than Paladin, especially when they drop defiance.

but you shouldnt consider the characters stats when creating stat for the weapon....ex: butter knife damage = 5, super sharp knife damage = 50...common sense

I didn't say anything about character stats, I was talking about weapon skill potency. Compare rage of halone to butcher's block. I have both tanking classes at 50 and both geared to the teeth, and do waaaay more damage on WAR

dps makes a difference on defense.....more dps = less time of dmg taken by tank

That's only in fights where the healers would be going OOM. Better defense on a tank > better offense on a tank.
