    Tier V Materia?!

    Can anyone confirm or deny that Tier V Materia is currently in game and can be obtain?

    Me and a fellow FC Officer were discussing it this morning and I did not see it listed on the DB but he says it is locked, cocked and ready to rocked.

    Has anyone obtained some or is it a 2.1 item?

    He states that it comes from Vanya, Darksteel conversion.

    I assume Vanya/Heavy Darksteel would only give Tier 4. Tier 5 won't be for quite a while, at least 2 more patches when they might potentially introduce higher ilevel gear.

    I believe there were Tier 5 materia in early beta data files but they decided to stick with 4 tiers for release.

    Is that link true? Is it possible to get Tier 3 Materia from L40-44 gear or is it only a chance at Tier 3?
