I agree. The main way to get around in FFXI was to rent a chocobo, or call your own. The lack of travel in XIV is a bit depressing. Any time I need to go anywhere, all I have to do is drop 300 gil and *poof* I'm there.

What happened to WHM teleports, or BLM warps?

Uh... that's exactly what the Teleport and Return features are. Except now those spells aren't being monopolized by a single job/sub-job combo.
