Fantasia ~ Name

Hello, i did write an in-game ticket today but i think the staff that did answer did not understand my "problem".

I did purchase 3 months subscription some weeks ago, so i have Fantasia, the potion that allows you to change your in-game aspect.

I would like to use it, but i'm afraid i cant. I cant because my character name is a MALE name and i would like to change gender to a female.

The answer i had in game from the GM was "I am sorry to hear you dont like your name". No bro, i do like it as male, but if i use fantasia i need to change it, seems pretty obvious.


Did you ever hear about a GIRL named "Mark"? Cause i do not

What i would suggest to the SE Staff is to allow the name change if you change your Gender, cause it's kinda obvious, when you did create ur character and gender, u did name it by your gender also.

Happy to see i am not the only one. I mean if you dont want people to change name, dont allow them to change gender then ~ But a downgrade is a BAD thing, i'm looking forward to an upgrade for Fantasia. I hope the SE Staff will answer.

It made sense till you mentioned you don't want you female named Mark. So you don't want to be a Guy playing a Chick named Mark, because you were a Guy playing a Guy named Mark? It's not really their fault you're having gender issues, as Fantasia's purpose is to alter your character not the identity of that character "Mark" but I think their reasoning might be that they want you to cough up $$$ later on via race change service or name change service. So far the only solution I can think of is paying a transfer to another service in which someone named "Mark" alrdy exists, then logic would make them give you a free name change, but I'm not sure if it works like that.

I dont know if it's my english bad, but i dont understand a thing you saying. i did try to, so i'll answer somehow.
I dont udnerstand what you dont ~ i mean. You have fantasia, THEY GIVE YOU the possibility of changing GENDER > means you Have to change name.
When you choose your name in the first login u choose it on your gender also.
if they give you the chance to change your character aspect AND gender, they should give you the nickname option IF gender is altered.
It's logic, it's like doing 1+1~ so i dont understand.

It is their fault for the gender issue. The moment you dont let me change the name but you let me change the gender it is you fault. you did not think enough when u made fantasia option maybe.
like i said, if you are MALE and your character's name is "MARK BROWN" and SE gives you the OPTION to CHANGE GENDER, makes absolutely NO SENSE AT ALL if you cant change the name. It's a problem, like i said its like doing 1+1. The result is 2.
Here, the result is incoerence.


About the world transfer, i do know alredy about it. It should work like in the old ffXI. i think if u cancel your account and a friend creates a new char with his account (same names as yours), and you reactivate ur account can work also. But im almost sure SE fixed this one. Problem it's not as natural thing to do
