PvPers: What class(es) are you planning to use in 2.1?

Just wondering what classes everyone is intending to use for PvP once its released. Or at least those intending to take part

My first idea is going to be a bit of an experiment: I'm going to try sculpting my Marauder/Warrior into a sort of beefcake DPS. The kind of character that can take a hit while still being able to dish out a modest amount of damage. I don't imagine I'll be a high tier PvPer, I never am, so I'll be looking a little fun factor and personal freedom in my build.

If that idea just fails horribly I'll probably try Dragoon, Monk, Bard, and Scholar to see which one is a good fit.

I'll be healing as WHM. I anticipate problems for SCH healing, as their pet will undoubtedly be focused down in the first few seconds of any fight.

None, because I don't play Final Fantasy for the PVP.

I hear you. I'm glad the PvP aspect is backstage (no world PvP ganking, etc). But I'm glad there will be a controlled PvP aspect and will be taking part. Doing nothing but the PvE grind does get dull over time.

If they did add world PvP at some point, I'd eat it up. That is assuming PvP turns out to be good here. Sadly, with the slower global cooldown, I suspect it may not be that exciting.

Honestly I don't see SC having issues, simply because pet is focused down. I mean Selene/Eos is not like felpuppy was, silence, decent dps, and all around hell for casters. I see SC being pretty damn good to be honest, them and Monks. I don't know but Monks seem like they will be beasts when learned well. I mean monks have evasive skills (featherfoot), damage skills, silence skills(arm of the destroyer), way to close the gaps(shoulder tackle (stun)), DoTs, damage reductions (fists of earth), self heal (third wind). I mean that list alone makes me believe they will be beasts to deal with, they have so many options and ways to get around things. Monk runs in, shoulder tackles (stuns) whm/sch, provides some combos, silences (arm of the destroyer) to prevent incoming heals, rinse repeat while others beat on the heals as well till a bloody mess. Not to mention status effect remover (One ilm punch), another stun (steel peak), and mantra to help with healing. 0.o

Uh... guys. PvP will have skills and ability different from PvE.

    Too early to guess.
