Agreed ; ; There really is a lot more quality of life issues, etc that need to be fixedThis game atm is plagued by such silly things that they should be fixing...
This has to be fixed. Happnes on that triple-skill charge for SMN as well.
These issues are not going to be fixed. SE refuses to acknowledge the problem despite having video evidence and a mega-thread dedicated to the issue. We've been told to zoom out more for a specific encounter, which is an insult to the community and an outright diversion from the actual concern. The game play is not as crisp as it could be. In WoW/Rift/SWTOR/etc, if I'm pre-casting a big heal and strafe to interrupt when I see I don't need the heal, the cast is interrupted 100% of the time even if I interrupt the heal with fractions of a second left. In FFXIV, that is completely impossible to do 100% of the time because you can actually get a heal off even if you move with fractions of a second left. When I tell my character to do something, there should be immediate feedback, otherwise the gameplay feels disjointed and sloppy.
Yoshi P. needs to take a bit of his own advice and go play WoW for a year to figure out what proper client <-> server communication feels and looks like.
i find that what usually happens to me is i'll press swiftcast then hit resurrection... except i end up casting resurrection because the swiftcast buff shows up a second later
I reported this issue in bug report about 2 weeks after the game came out and it was moved to Duplicate Bug forum which means they're aware of it. They're just not addressing it.
