    Love The Game, But Have To Leave (Server Xfer)

    I've played MMOs for years and have never been one to rant about their services (or lack thereof). This will be the first MMO I've actually quit because of it. I'm leaving my thoughts here not to make myself feel better, but to hopefully show at least the SE forum mods that the issue I've been dealing with for weeks is inexcusable.

    My character has been "in process" of transferring since 10/21. Since then, I have been unable to log into any NA server at all. I have no friends that play on JP servers, therefore I have no reason to play on them. In short, I've burned almost three weeks worth of subscription time waiting on a server transfer.

    The funny thing is, I would have been fine with the wait if I could have received an ETA as to when the service might be complete. After weeks of phone calls, chats, and emails, SE support tells me that they CANNOT tell me when the transfer will be complete.

    I work in customer service myself, for a rather large company. Sure, there are times where we cannot give answers to our clients, but we can always give them an ETA as to when we might have a resolution to their problem. The fact that this has been going on for almost three weeks and they STILL cannot tell me an ETA is ridiculous.

    It's a shame too, because I really do love this game. Despite the occasional instability issues, I really enjoyed this game before I initiated a server transfer.

    In closing, I hope that nobody has to share my issues with the server transfer system and lack of customer service. Perhaps one day I'll come back, but for now I'm disgusted at the lack of...everything, on SE's part.

    a service offered and payed for is not being fulfilled by the provider as promised.
    your character needs to be manually fixed but i guess they dont want to do it, right?

    That's completely disgusting. If there's an issue with your character they need to resolve it. That's what "support" means, right? You have no choice but to quit at that point. You can't even play. I wish you good luck.

    I don't know about the legalities but surely that's a paid service? Meaning it qualifies for some sort of trading standards obligation or something, no?

    If you have no interest in playing your account again.. I would seriously consider forcing a charge back. You are well within your rights on this one. SE will close your account for doing it, but if you have no intention of using the account in the future than that is not an issue. If you can not even use the service for an entire pay period.. than you should get a refund, or at least some free game time. The fact that this issue has taken as long as it has tho... I doubt free game time would be adequate.

    Get your money back. Do not let SE get away with this. This is why SE is as old as it is and still causing ppl these issues. Because ppl let them get away with it. No ToS or ELUA or any thing similar allow companies to bypass the law.

    It seems that there have not been any further posts about this concern being an ongoing issue. Because of this, we are considering it to be resolved.
