[dev] Allow Thread Creator to Moderate Own Thread (Forum)

I hate the fact that trolls kill almost every idea that someone posts that is good and or could start a good idea in the game, and I think if the Thread Creator could Hide Posts in the threads, we could eliminate 100's of troll posts that serve no purpose at all.

This could also help the moderators save time.

Please LIKE this post if you think this is a good idea. (I know the negative trolls wont)

Edited: (For those who think that their opinion wont be heard, an option where you can view hidden OP posts should be allowed, this way you can see how Biased the OP is, and if the hidden post is of value)

It's a good idea, especially given how this forum software itself can allow for such...but at the same time it's a horrible idea because people can't behave.

If someone is posting in a thread and gives no "valuable" feedback, it deserves to be deleted. Just because you disagree with an idea, doesn't mean you flame them for it. You simply create a thread on why you disagree with it and then maybe something valuable will come out of the discussion. Flaming someone never solves anything, nor does any good idea come from it. It only devalues the thread. If the thread creator keeps deleting your posts, then maybe you are a troll. Simple and effective.

as I know... vBulletin doesn't have an option to do that

and I disagreed. giving such a power to the thread creators? they can eliminate every opinions that they don't like and the thread will become one-side

did you know, even when moderators delete or edit your post they'll send an email to tell you the reason. that's their standard which mean deleting someone post is a big deal and should be done by moderators only

Well if the OP is like this, then don't participate in their threads. Its very easy... If a new thread needs to be created about the argument against the main thread, then so be it... it might actually do more justice than inside a thread with 30 pages.

This. If it was changed 99% of the post here would be about how great the game is and SE can do no wrong.

people will delete anything they dont like,for example i say I dont like jump( this and example i careless if add it or leave it out) and you do you can delete my post make look like everyone on your side not really good idea every desiccation would look one sided not saying you would but there are a lot out there that would. i hate to say it but i know i would be tempted to.
