    The delay of Hallowed Ground is unacceptable

    It has been 10+ times that I used the skill, it went CD, & I still died

    The ability effect has a 2 second delay after I press the key.

    And this is still not the worst thing,
    with the built-in 1s-1.5s GCD of the instant abilities,
    sometimes I have to wait 3-3.5 seconds to get the Hallowed Ground effect.

    Well SE.. if you say this is "working as intended". you think this is fun,
    then I've nothing to say, & I will unsub this game

    Animation delay, i feel ur pain tho... But tbh i like it this way, makes us stay a few second ahead of the fight is half, or more of the fun in encounters, thats what tanking is about

    not just animation lock ,there is a 2 seconds delay in this skill, try it yourself
    with the lock, the delay is 3-3.5 sec

    Wo now lol. i agree that hallowed ground does take longer then i'd like. you cant really use it as a last resort because if your healths critical u may die while waiting on the animation. i personally try n use it if another character needs healed or raised. then the healer doesnt have 2 worry about me. binding coil's also a place you'll use it often as well. tho one skill issue shouldn't be enough to make u quit. think about it anyways. if 1 person complains then says their gonna unsub then theres no problem to fix anymore. i agree theres a slight tweaking needed but dont let it ruin your experience

    1.use the ability 3-3.5seconds earlier before the enemy kill you.

    2.Move before the AOE comes out (titan)

    OP isn't talking about that. OP is talking about the ability being used and going on CD and still dying. This is purely server lag. Client side recognised you've used the ability and Server side does not, which leads to your death.

The problem the OP is experiencing is that he or she is using it just seconds before they are about die, hence them dying before the animation has had a chance to even finish, let alone the effect taking place. Compounded with the fact that there is the animation lock, meaning you cannot activate a skill while another's animation is still happening, there's a large gap between when you'd want the effect, and when you'll get it.

    Personally, this is just a play style issue at the moment. Every time I've ever needed Hallowed Ground on my PLD, it was not because I was about to die, but rather I knew a large amount of damage was incoming and rather than risk dying or getting close to death, I use the skill to negate it.
