    Crafting status indicators

If I am under the effect of, say, Preserve, show it in the status icons. It's relevant, and that way if I'm blindly crafting while surfing the web, I'll know if I should toggle an ability if it comes up (so that I don't overwrite one already up).

Great list. I especially like the note on the "R/G Colourblindness". That's a positive and inclusive thing to modify in order to not disadvantage people with that particular condition.

An additional note on macros. They should be much longer (ie. allowing many more lines per macro) than they currently are, more responsive, and have a more robust set of commands available if they're to remain a staple feature of how players interact with the game. This is especially true in the example of gear swap macros.

The colored dots for mobs and NPCs on the minimap aren't easily distinguished by people afflicted with R/G colorblindness, especially with the background color they're rendered against.

This also translates to the Gear window when changing gear - it's difficult to see whether a number is going up or down based on the color alone. I would suggest using blue for positive changes and red for negative ones.
Had an idea for this. Instead of changing the color scheme, it would probably be a lot better if the window stayed as-is, but to the right of each stat value, show a triangular arrow pointing up or down and a number indicating how much the value will change by. This allows the color scheme to stay as it is, and there's a better visual indicator to show positive/negative differences, and also it doesn't force the player to keep track of numbers when comparing gear. There's plenty of space in the bars for each stat value, so I almost get the impression this may have been planned from the get-go and it was just never completed.

Some of OP's Laundry has been mention in Reinheart's post here. Could be a useful addition to his OP.

    +1 for you, sir.

The points on accessibility are extremely important.

While not completely color blind I have a greater difficulty differentiated between shades of colors. Its nearly impossible for me to know what dot is what on the screen (I now just assume its SOMETHING). I wasn't really aware they were color coded until a friend mentioned it!

The second point on freeing up key binds is not just a matter of convenience, its a matter of accessibility [Coincidentally Macros are equally important for this reason]. Not everyone is capable of the same fine motor skills, reaction times or digits other people take for granted.

What may end up being "just a few more" extra clicks or key presses is by no means equally trivial to another.

Adding an option for UI scale and text scale would also be for the best.
