downloader patch works?

I fear for downloading the 1.18 update ....

Yoshi-p said that 1.18 going to be a big file but this patch was 356MB which noting beside a few fix. They had lot's of change in the dats from Mobs, to players to even sound that mobs do. So you could see this patch as a cut from 1.18

i still see 1.18 at least 1GB
