Got struck when talking to some NPC

I have had this issue twice. I left the market ward and the little blue description screen woulds come off. The one that tells you what market ward you just entered. It also happend when looking into party. It wouldn't come off of the screen. Had to relog both times to fix it.

Completely different issue...

But agreed - I've experienced the market ward title screen being stuck in the middle of the window like you describe. It only happens to me when I log back in and start off in the market ward though. Perhaps a different thread for this bug?

I've been getting this with the Behest NPC and I have to use task manager to exit FFXIV as well. This really needs to be fixed, I can't do Behests, or ANY NPCs at all, this includes storyline quests as well.

So, did any of you switch your font to one you like in game? A windows one instead of the default FFXIV one? Well, I had, and I switched it back, and now no more problems! I didn't have problems before the most recent patch, either, but this is a good temp fix, right?

Thank you thank you thank you This has fixed the problem for me.

So it tries to load dialogue in the pop-up dialogue box, and if you're not using the standard FFXIV font, it causes the interface to freeze and displays a blank box.

Let us know when you've fixed it S-E so we can change back to our funky fonts!

was wondering if the Journal may have somthing to do with this.Question can we clear our Journals? If i could clear it this my fix the problem Shoeing the Shore it is finashed and i beleave is the cause. Kokomui at Camp Bloodshore is the NPC

Yes I have changed my Font to a windows one will follow your lead Sainya and reset the Font Thanking You for the heads up

The same issue happened to me during my rank 30 Archer quest, I made a thread about it here thinking it was an isolated incident, but I suppose it's much more widespread.
