Got struck when talking to some NPC

Step: When talking to NPC the text box that pop up are empty and can not proceed, can not cancel conversation with the NPC. but still can chat. happen with several NPC after patch 1.16.

I hear u I'm on Wutai and when i talk to Kokomui or Holasfhis the game becomes unresponcesive and i have to use Task Manager to log out

Same have had issues with the quest Have you seen my son. Also I'm running into this problem with guild leve's and now faction leve's where it froze up while talking to the NPC War Wolf. I've uninstalled and reinstalled but the problem still there.

And now crafting leve's while trying to turn in the leve for the reward.

Happen to be when submitting local leves to several NPC, when talk to War Wolf in FQ (result - I have to force log out and miss the reward ).
Hope SE fix this soon, as I'm currently holding on to some FQ and stop doing local leves until this issue got fix.

Talking to Willeda in the Lancers Guild with no quests open but all Lancer quests done I got stuck. I couldn't even log out just chat as listed above.

Same symptoms when speaking with Mimini at Camp Black Brush when trying to hand in the "Hanging By A Thread" guildleve - blank dialogue box (though the spoken text comes up in the chat log as normal) which am unable to cancel out of. Can chat and move camera as normal, but not move or access menus.

Hello this problem is spreading for me I now have 3 NPC's witch will cause this for me. Reinstalling isn't the answer this all started after the lastest patch for me.To log out i used Ctrl Alt Delete to bring up task manager witch caues Direct X to be lost by game and I'm out. The thing now is I'm unable to do Leve Quests and I have put that to the test. Have drop a Bug report each time this happens but now I'm Tired of that. So i can trace this back to the first NPC were this happened and it is Kokomui at Camp Bloodshore Doing Leve Quest Shoeing the Shore rank 15.

I have had this issue twice. I left the market ward and the little blue description screen woulds come off. The one that tells you what market ward you just entered. It also happend when looking into party. It wouldn't come off of the screen. Had to relog both times to fix it.

Completely different issue...

But agreed - I've experienced the market ward title screen being stuck in the middle of the window like you describe. It only happens to me when I log back in and start off in the market ward though. Perhaps a different thread for this bug?
