Graphic stuttering (Youtube video)

I was amazed the issue also exists in SE OFFICIAL promotion video:

In the video, you can see the graphic movement is not smooth,
the frame is "jumping" from the start to the end (the lamp stand movement in 0:27-0:31 etc)

any comments?

I have the same stuttering in game, objects are moving like this: oo..o.ooo....o.......oo.o.........o

To be fair, this is a problem with all YouTube videos I watch lately... but you are right that it does appear in the game quite frequently as well.
I'm not sure if the reason for this in game is a lack of drivers released so far supporting FFXIV or just a terribly programmed graphics engine.


I record to a separate media PC using an AverMedia C985 at 1080p 30fps and the stuttering is 100% non-existent (if the card is behaving correctly...) but uploads to YouTube with a stutter.

Other times the game itself is misbehaving and has a stutter while being played (no idea why this happens).

Most of SE videos I notice have some stuttering. I believe it's from converting 60 FPS video to 30 FPS video when uploading to youtube.

When I record videos I have fraps "Lock the framerate while recording" the game at 30 FPS so youtube doesn't do FPS conversion.

yes, not stuttering if you limited your game fps to 30, (or your hardware is too old that can't not run at 60 fps)

but when the game runs at 60fps,it's stuttering
object movement in 30fps is smoother than 60fps ( framerate is lower,but smoother,no "jumping" object)

I've reported this issue to SE ,& they moved it to "accepted bugs"

I run at 60 all the time and have never noticed any stuttering.

I suspect hardware, not necessarily game problem.
