    I was on chat with Comcast for an hour. The rep basically hung up on me by remotely resetting my modem. Anyway, here are some highlights:

    Baguette: What is your progress in resolving this issue? Do you have any solutions for logging into these games? Do you have any plans to issue a credit to customers who are experiencing these issues?
    Lovelee: We apologize for the inconvenience, Baguette. This is the best used resolution on the forum. Can you please try this: Delete FFXIV_BOOT.CFG in "C:\Users\Documents\My Games\FINAL FANTASY XIV - A Realm Reborn". It will have you go through the EULA again and will take you directly to the play button.
    Baguette: I tried it and it did not work. I have also tried resetting my Internet Explorer settings to default, setting the Square Enix site as a trusted site, restarting my computer, shutting down all background applications, opening the launcher repeatedly, and opening the launcher and waiting for 30 minutes. None of these attempts worked.
    Lovelee: If the login fields are missing, don't close your launcher. Instead, start the launcher a second time. You'll get an error message saying that the launcher is already running. However, on the original launcher, the login fields will now appear.
    Baguette: I just tried that and it did not work.
    Lovelee: Baguette, I will be creating a ticket to escalate this to our network specialist.
    Baguette: Will the network specialist be contacting me with updates on progress? Do you have plans to issue credits to customers affected by your issue?
    Lovelee: We need to fix the issue first before any adjustments can be applied. Yes, you will be contacted by the higher tier.
