Abundant FCs, However will I choose? (Challenge)

Whilst walking around the crowded streets of Limsa I often see a plethora of Free Companies. Players running every which way with different letters above their heads. <Nos>, <FCC>, <BSSM>, <KLM>, and <WTF> are just a few examples of what we're all familiar with.

What does a Company-less adventurer notice when he sees all of these FCs jostling for position on their screen? He notices that each and every one of those companies is exactly the same, or so it may seem at first glance. What is there to be attracted to in this abundance of companies? What's going to make this adventurer jump out of his seat in excitement when every company is no different that the last?


Those of you who are involved with a Free Company, I ask you, What is your company doing that's different than the others? How are you attracting new members?

I challenge each and every one of you to go out there and try to make your company unique, in a way other than having a more creative or witty name. Organize events! Hold competitions! Start a damn math club, who cares! Recruit people in creative ways, don't just hand out invites to anyone without a badge. Do this because it's fun, not because I told you to. Most of all do it because if you don't the FC base on our server will, and always will, remain a featureless blob.

Nah, I said I agree with you. The only thing our FC has that nobody will know about until they join is our humor. Nothing like you mention though...I said I agree...what more can I give you?!?!?! :'(

I can't keep that promise, Valere. I'd really like to, but I don't see myself able to keep it and I don't want to make a promise that I don't believe I will keep.
