New market board error

Hello just giving a warning to people of the community. There are a few sellers on the market board selling without a nation(limsa,uldah,grind) Please dont make the mistake of trying to buy from theses sellers and if you have just report it to SE so you have the info on file. I have confirmed a few retainer on balmug to watch out for.

When you try to buy an item no matter if you are successful or not data is still being sent from your side to theirs. That data in an unsecure database structure is very powerful indeed. Sorry for being vague but I think you can gather the possibilities.

I for one am hoping im wrong and it is just one of the things people have suggested sever transfer/banned accounts.

From what I've heard those are just retainers that had things selling when the characters who own them server transfer without taking things off the MB

I thought this too as well then i noticed they would go down some days then reappear other for different ammounts

I saw this before server transfer was available. And usually saw a lot of them right after SE pulled out the ban hammer. So I assumed it was players that were banned. Not sure though.

I thought this might be the issue as well. But when the prices of retainers changed and or go away completely then return I have to wonder. For the next few days i will document more and i would like to ask on your severs to try to do the same if you see it.

OK I get that part, but whats the warning for? I mean a error message just seems like a weird thing to post a warning thread about. What are the dire consequences of trying to buy from them, I mean trying to buy from them?
