Can't get trial for GC promotion?

I decided to take a break from Titan HM to catch up on my GC hunting log so I could get promoted, I'm currently a Chief Serpent Sergeant. I completed the 2 ranks and talked to the personnel officer, and he said I needed to complete a trial, so I went to talk to the Serpent Commander dude (since I'm a Serpent) and he didn't have a quest for me, just some dialogue.

I googled it, but everyone just said to finish the story quests. I'm on HM Titan, shouldn't I be able to get the trial by now? Or am I just incredibly thick and I'm missing something blatantly obvious?

I'm almost 100% AK was last Trial you have to do For GC, I know you had to do story tho and he ask you to go ak and beat it lol

AK used to be the trial, now it's AV instead.

Haha, knew it was going to be something stupidly obvious. There was a quest called Gilding the Bilious or something in my journal that I had picked up while still doing the story quest in Coerthas, then completely forgot about, which calls for an AV run. Thanks all for the help, hopefully this'll save some other poor soul from the confusion.
