Lightning FATE and Level(s).

I doubt SE in it's fullest love Lightning. She is more of Toriyama's virtual "waifu" more than anything. Saw some interviews with some of the staff who worked on the FF13 games and they said that some of the posters were taken down and replaced with posters of Lightning so that "She could look down on them and give them inspiration and work hard.". I could tell by body language that they seriously wanted to rip it off the walls, throw it in a garbage drum, and light it on fire.

As for the costumes I just hope it can be used as a vanity item, should that option arise.

I think they showed three different levels to the lightning FATE, or at least three locations (which in my mind means three different levels)
so that different parts of the community can enjoy it. i'll find the video or link

I am pretty sure that the lightning style is a vanity item later on, altough it loses its epicness when everyone is running around with it, but thats with every costume i guess

I wish they were able to get Vanity system going with it. Won't really be able to enjoy the drops if they are for only lvl 15ish.

However, the people around this level or leveling other classes will be able to. If anything for the "maxed out" people it's more the battle content than the rewards.

Let's be real, for all the gripes about XIII, it's still one of the better selling FF games out there and the Sequel still sold well and has high popularity in Japan. People don't complain about the FFVII kick Square did even though VII is the most broken, disjointed and unfinished FF game to ever exist.

I just hope they don't do some stupid requirements for the quests to be flagged like they did with All Saints' Wake (Level 15 requirement for a lv1 costume... they could've just not made a quest that required you to visit other cities).

FFVII is right up there with FFXIII on the list of my most disliked FF titles though. And to be fair, I would probably really really like Lightning as a character if she was attached to any game that wasn't the 13 series.

I'm willing to bet you that the lighting FATE is going to be just like the Odin FATE and Behemoth FATE. Too many players in one area, a ton of lag, and noway possible to see the enemy.
